Together, we can make a positive impact on the region in which we live, work, and raise our children by supporting St. Louis.

Washington University is proud to partner with the United Way of Greater St. Louis once again to provide help for our neighbors in need. Your support through donations or volunteer opportunities not only helps our community, but provides a feeling of gratitude and positive well-being in our own lives.

2023 United Way Mission

Helping our community provides an intrinsic value and can be a fulfilling way to introduce or maintain your own well-being. Helping others, such as donating or volunteering with the United Way of Greater St. Louis, is a great way to help yourself by helping others.

The United Way of Greater St. Louis helps one in three people and funds more than 160 agencies in both Missouri and Illinois. Supporting their efforts is one of the ways in which we can help strengthen our community and region, because they work tirelessly in our neighborhoods to better our community through various ways, including providing families with meals and financial assistance, connecting community members to health care resources, providing women and children experience domestic violence a safe space to live, and more.

Unite with Us: WashU 2023

United Way is in St. Louis and for St. Louis. The Greater St. Louis chapter includes 16 counties in Illinois and Missouri, serving a population of nearly 3 million people. And like Washington University, United Way brings together people of different backgrounds and interests in an effort to strengthen health and human services for the community it serves.
